Hit Streak for Ragalla Reaches 20

Wednesday, April 6th , 2050
The Bucklebury Fairies may have proven to be mere mortals as they lost, 3-2, to the Mirkwood Sylvan, but Dejaalia Ragalla continued to hit like a god.

The first baseman collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games.

“Ragalla is playing great and is on fire right now,” Fairies manager Sancho Hardbottle said. “Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins.”

Ragalla was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said “nothing else matters but the loss.”
Dejaalia Ragalla struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
