It was announced today by the Shire Conference that Rivendell first baseman Justin Armortearer had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week.
During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .625 batting average, 15 hits and 4 home runs. Armortearer also racked up 13 RBIs and scored 13 runs.
Currently Armortearer is batting .305 with 72 hits and 16 home runs. He has knocked in 45 runs and scored 40 times.
