Few players his age are still in the league, but DeForest *Hamrh of the Mirkwood Sylvan clearly loves the game and clearly he can still get the job done. Last week the 35-year-old catcher hit the ball with the consistency of someone ten years younger, which made *Hamrh a popular and well-deserved selection as Shire Conference Player of the Week.
He paced the Sylvan attack by putting up a .444 batting average, 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 8 RBIs and 2 home runs. *Hamrh also scored 5 runs.
