22-year-old Ondabrar Celuthor sent shock waves through Tolkien Baseball last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Shire Conference Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Celuthor made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .462 average, 6 hits in 13 at-bats, 3 home runs and 3 RBI.
Where the Moria Miners center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Celuthor certainly made his mark last week.
This season, Celuthor has posted a batting average of .259 with 85 hits in 328 at-bats, 13 home runs and 43 RBIs. He has also scored 48 runs, walked 22 times and compiled a .313 OBP.
