The “hardest feat in sports” debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That’s exactly what Alrond *Hubbard, Jr. did at Royals Stadium, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 17-0.

“It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit,” *Hubbard, Jr. said. “Good things happen, when that happens.”

The Old Forest Merry Fellows right fielder blistered the Rivendell Royals for 5 hits, batted in 7 runs and scored 6 times.

“It ain’t like we weren’t trying,” Rivendell manager Golloron Nerith said. “He was hot and really torched my boys today.”

Alrond *Hubbard, Jr. singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Lavinia Bridger in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Olezka Camisole in the 5th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Dharmaghosa Eyekiller in the 9th.

This year, *Hubbard, Jr. is hitting .323 with 30 home runs and 94 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .441 clip and scored 90 runs.
