The Bywater Bounders were dealt a severe blow when Celomli Glarion was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Old Forest Merry Fellows. After the game, the team trainer reported Glarion might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 32-year-old shortstop out for the rest of the season with a fractured knee. They indicated it would take Glarion at least 6 months to heal.
This year, Glarion is batting .243 with 39 home runs and 81 RBIs.
