There was certainly no shortage of drama in the Shire Conference Hobbit Division this year.
With the division title still hanging in the balance in the season’s final day, the Lake Town Archers triumphed to capture their 14th division crown.
“It’s been an exciting chase and great for fans,” said reliever Giullio Villate. “Of course, Lake Town fans are happiest of all right now.”
The club captured the crown with a 84-78 record and will be looking to win the 1st Tolkien Baseball championship in team history.
