The Old Forest Merry Fellows have cruised through the Hobbit Series, easily sweeping away the Minas Tirith Titans by a count of 2-0.
The final blow came with a 2-0 triumph at Elrod Stadium at Finrod Field, which sends Old Forest on to the Fellowship Series.
“There’s a lot of focus from our team right now, up and down that bench and in the clubhouse,” said Snaglut Baldivía.
For the series, Baldivía had a 0.00 ERA over 8.2 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. He was named series MVP for his efforts.
The Old Forest Merry Fellows will play against the Rivendell Royals in the next round. Rivendell had a bye in the Hobbit Series. The Fellowship Series schedule will be announced after the Hobbit Series finishes.
