Archers Hammered by Bonedragger, Drop Game 3 to Miners

At 36, Huzhkrut Bonedragger knows he may not have many playoff appearances left, so he was determined to make it memorable. Mission accomplished.

The Moria Miners first baseman was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 to help his club get past the Lake Town Archers, 6-5, in Game 3 of the Fellowship Series at Khazad-dum Stadium. With the win, Moria takes a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Moria shortstop Monzaemon Srinshee, facing Groshzog Gnomedragger, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Miners the 6-5 win.

“That was fun but I’ll be happy with a nice, safe win next time,” Moria manager Denilthor Silverbinder said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Thursday, October 13th , 2050.
