The Numenor Kings knotted up the Fellowship Series at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium, thanks in large part to second baseman Phaimina Srinshee. Srinshee went 3 for 5 with 3 singles and a walk. She scored 2 times as she overpowered the Dagorlad Disaster, enabling Numenor to grab the 10-3 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.
Numenor won the game in part because of Grimnir Gleransson. The right fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Kings ahead, 10-3. For the game, Gleransson had 1 double and 1 home run in 6 at-bats.
“The rain was definitely not preferable,” Gleransson said. “It worked out fine I guess, but we’ll be happy if we see the sun next time.”
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Saturday, October 15th , 2050.
