The Dunharrow Devils got a strong performance from pitcher Gorbaduc Bramble, who stymied the Dyson offense en route to a 2-1 win in Game 2 of the Ultimate Championship. The Spheres could never get a bead on the right-handed Bramble, who threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The Devils now hold a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Devils had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when left fielder Thean Isuwyn hit a 2-run home run. The home run came off Dejmina Celadriendel and made the score 2-1, Devils. Isuwyn went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
“Gorbaduc was able to locate to both sides, up and down,” said Dunharrow manager Manuel Hogg.
The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, November 8th , 2050 at Hatchets Stadium.
