What does it take to win the Gandalf Pitcher Award?
Just ask Gildor *Inglorion of the Rivendell Royals — the latest Shire Conference Gandalf Pitcher Award winner.
“My dad always told me to dream big and dream always,” he said. “It’s not like I shoot for the Gandalf Pitcher Award,” he said. “I have big aspirations for what I want to do in this game and what I want to achieve in a long career.”
The Royals pitching ace made some of his dreams come true this year, winning 20 games and losing only 5. In 32 starts, *Inglorion registered a 3.24 ERA and limited other clubs to a .224 batting average. He fanned 203 in 233 innings and issued 29 walks.
Frugorn Coronda of the Minas Ithil Wyrms finished second in voting, while Thrudrub the Crazy Bastard of the Minas Tirith Titans finished third.
