Devils Lose Throatcrawler for Season

Snabgunk Throatcrawler is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Dunharrow organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 8-9 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The 31-year-old reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Isengard Raiders.
