Emilio Garceau, known affectionately as “the old man” by the younger players in the Hops clubhouse, showed his teammates how to do it last week — and in the process the 35-year-old vet beat out all competition for the Mordor Conference Player of the Week Award.
He put up a .500 batting average, 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. Garceau also scored 7 runs.
