It was a parade of hits for Briffo Wisebattler of the Lake Town Archers at The Water Park.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Wisebattler finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Archers to a win, 9-5.
“Wisebattler was really good and we were really bad,” groaned Bounders manager Sulak Daggerdrinker. “Next time he’s that hot, we’ll just walk him.”
Briffo Wisebattler singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Lanlla Iseogrin in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
