Minas Morgul’s Xandra *Thornflower entered the record books today as she collected hit number 2000 at Orthanc Stadium.
“I am proud of this. Not too many players reach this level. You have to be around quite a few years and you have to get a lot of hits,” *Thornflower said after the game.
On her milestone day she went 2 for 4 as the Slayers won 3-2 over the Isengard Raiders.
In her career, *Thornflower has compiled a .352 batting average and collected 2000 hits, 92 home runs and 700 RBIs.
