A classic and dramatic Two Towers Series has wrapped up, with the Numenor Kings outlasting the Dol Guldur Dragons to advance to the Return of the King Series.
Numenor won the final game by a score of 10-3 and took the series 4-3.
“We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it’s back to work and thinking about the next win,” said Numenor right fielder Rumzug Steale, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP.
Steale hit .286 with a .382 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs.
The Numenor Kings don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bywater Bounders – Carrock Bears series. Carrock leads the series 3 games to 2. The Return of the King Series schedule will be announced after the Two Towers Series finishes.
