Critical Game 5 Goes to Host Kings, 6-5

When the games really matter, the Numenor Kings put on their best show, beating the Carrock Bears by a final score of 6-5. Krutrush Trollthrottler went 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Numenor now leads Carrock 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

Whip Keogh was the walk-off hero for Numenor. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kings third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

“We’ve got guys willing to do what it takes to win,” Keogh told the Numenor News.

Game 6 is scheduled for Sunday at Old League Park.
