Dagorlad Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in Series

If the Lothlorien Lumberjacks were expecting the pressure of the playoffs to get to Irene Black, they underestimated the veteran.

The Dagorlad Disaster got a strong start from the 38-year-old left-hander. Black threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball as Dagorlad won the contest, 4-1, at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium to take the lead in their best-of-7 series with the Lumberjacks. The Disaster now lead 2-1.

Black, who was born in Nurn, Unknown Lands, threw 84 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.

“For the most part, I felt like I did a pretty good job with executing the pitches I was throwing,” said Black.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sunday, October 13th , 2052.
