It took some time to iron out the details, but the Fairies and Crashlanders have agreed to a swap. WeMadeIt will get 25-year old LHP Filibert Brockhouse, 21-year old minor league RHP Blablag Driderthrower, and $1,470,000 in cash with Bucklebury receiving 23-year old minor league RHP Przemek Banho, 22-year old minor league RHP Adelmar Gnomeeater, 21-year old minor league RHP Phraan Celuthor, 24-year old minor league LF Rabur Menor, and 21-year old minor league RHP Krubkub Greatstink in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal.
Bucklebury will retain a portion of Brockhouse’s remaining contract.
Brockhouse has appeared in 147 games in his career and put together a record of 14 victories and 5 losses, 1.99 ERA and 68 saves. He has thrown 176.2 innings, struck out 209 and walked 47.
