Riding the 3-hit performance of shortstop Misagenes Foebinder, the Dunharrow Devils got a road win against the Lothlorien Lumberjacks, 4-1, in Game 2 of the Fellowship Series today. Foebinder went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Devils, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.
In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Foebinder hit a 2-run home run to put his team ahead.
“Bottom line,” said Lothlorien skipper Borthak Throatslobber, “we didn’t play well enough to win.”
Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday at Dunharrow Field.
