The Minas Morgul Slayers got a strong performance from pitcher Ibpug the Badger, who stymied the visiting Ravenhill Darkwings en route to a win, 6-1, in Game 2 of the Fellowship Series today. The Darkwings could never get a bead on the right-handed the Badger, who threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The Slayers now hold a 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.
Trarzog Kidneydragger dealt the Darkwings a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Minas Morgul leading 2-0, Kidneydragger hit a 1-2 fastball for a 2-run double.
“I feel honored to be a part of this team,” said Kidneydragger.
The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 14th , 2049 at The Ballpark at Helms Deep.
