Moria center fielder Ondabrar Celuthor was the difference-maker for the Miners in what turned into a shootout with the Dunharrow Devils. Celuthor earned accolades after going 2-for-4 in the 5-4 Miners win. With the victory, the Miners moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.
In the bottom of the sixth, Illithor Silveroak delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 3rd, the Moria left fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Miners in front, 5-4.
“You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them,” said Dunharrow manager Manuel Hogg.
The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, November 1st , 2050 at Dunharrow Field.
