The Carrock Bears may have had some self-doubt, but in the end they have prevailed as Shire Conference Hobbit Division champions.
“When the standings are as close as they have been in the final days of the season, you start to wonder – can we really do this?” said first baseman Sam *Oakenstaff. “Thankfully I think everyone still believed and we got it done.”
It’s now off to the postseason, where the team will be trying to win the Return of the King Series for the 2nd time. The division title was the 7th for the Bears.
