Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Uruk-hai, 11-6

Dead Marshes Uruk-hai shortstop Joel Elvàviel was the difference-maker at Uruk-hai Field today, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Return of the King Series. The Uruk-hai took the 11-6 win over the Bywater Bounders to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The Uruk-hai took a 11-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. Facing Bywater hurler Darrick Hafer with two outs, Elvàviel hit a 3-run home run.

“We’ll sip on a cold one and savor this win,” said Elvàviel.

Game 6 is scheduled for Sunday at The Water Park.
