The Bywater Bounders and the Dead Marshes Uruk-hai will take the Return of the King Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Bounders beat the Uruk-hai 5-3 at The Water Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Bywater center fielder Kenneth the Pillager went 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
the Pillager had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the sixth for the Bounders. Coming up with the bases loaded and Bywater trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.
the Pillager attributed the win to “everyone pulling their weight.”
