It took some time to iron out the details, but the Merry Fellows and Devils have agreed to a swap. Dunharrow will get 29-year old RHP Sudeep Blunt and $4,500,000 in cash with Old Forest receiving 23-year old minor league LHP Abadda Fellmirr and 22-year old LF Throbhosh Elephantdicer in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal.
Old Forest will retain a portion of Blunt’s remaining contract.
Blunt has a career won-loss record of 44 wins and 28 losses with 560 strikeouts in 526 innings and a 4.12 ERA.
