With third baseman Ferdinand *Puttifoot leading the charge, the Bywater Bounders got a road win over the Carrock Bears, 8-3, in Game 4 of the Fellowship Series today. *Puttifoot was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once at Old League Park to help Bywater take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.
A key moment came with one out in the top of the ninth. That’s when *Puttifoot hit a fastball from See-tong Thatcher for a grand slam home run, putting Bywater up, 8-3.
“We have been clicking right from the start of this series, so our mission statement at the moment is just don’t tinker with anything,” Bywater manager Girith of Rhun told reporters.
