The Minas Morgul Slayers took the first game of the Fellowship Series in dramatic fashion today, topping the Ravenhill Darkwings 4-3 in an extra-inning walk-off win. Slayers right-hander Jhaan Clatharla threw 7.2 innings of shutout ball.
The game came to an abrupt end with one out in the bottom of the 23rd. On a pitch from Drudak Ghoulslicer, Zazbag Braingobber hit a sacrifice fly. It gave Minas Morgul the 4-3 win.
After the game, Minas Morgul manager Mimosa Willow applauded the team’s effort. “They busted their tails out there,” she said.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tuesday, October 12th , 2049.
