Glarion Hosts Charity Golf Tournament

Bywater shortstop Celomli Glarion has always been a fierce competitor. In recent years, this love of competition has helped him develop into an exceptional golfer.

He has participated in – and even won – several charity golf tournaments.

“I’ve managed to lower my handicap significantly just over the past few years,” said Glarion with a smile. “I’m no pro, but I think I can hold my own out on the links.”

Now, Glarion is putting his skills to the test as he hosts his very own tournament, the Celomli Glarion Celebrity Pro-Am.

Glarion was the first to tee off this morning, along with Bywater Bounders starting pitcher, Giprak Rougecheeks, and Bounders manager, Girith of Rhun.

“Celomli has always had a charitable spirit. He did a great job getting this thing organized,” said the Bywater skipper.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit numerous local charities.

“I’m grateful to everyone who helped me pull this off and to everyone who came out to watch,” said Glarion. “We raised a lot of money for some very worthy causes today. Hopefully, we can do this again next year.”
