Another Setback for Disaster Lapo, Forced to Retire

Octav Lapo has already had to shut down his rehabilitation twice in his recovery from a broken bone in the elbow. Now he has suffered another setback that could end his baseball career for good. The Dagorlad shortstop has gotten hurt again and done more damage to his injury. Reports say chances are remote that anything can be done to get him back on the field. The Disaster medical specialists say it is unlikely Lapo will ever play ball again.

Checking out his career figures, Lapo has played in 341 games with a .200 batting average. Among his 183 hits are 12 home runs. He has also scored 85 runs, stolen 16 bases, and driven in 66 runs.
