Proving the old adage that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, the Bounders announced today the acquisition of 22-year old RHP Isengrim Isengrimsson from the Rhun Wheat Kings in exchange for 27-year old RHP Ozdub Heartkicker. “This isn’t the deal of the century,” acknowledged the Bounders, “but we think it will improve the direction of both teams.”
Lifetime Heartkicker has a won-lost record of 27 victories and 20 losses with 313 strikeouts in 463.1 innings and a 3.17 ERA.
