In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Old Forest Merry Fellows and the Xanth Centaurs have agreed to a deal that will have 23-year old minor league LF Volin Crump, 24-year old LF Maklolm Homan, 20-year old minor league 2B Snugbug the Crippler, and $15,000,000 in cash heading to Xanth in exchange for 23-year old RHP Prospero Bauwyn and 30-year old RHP Cara Bridger. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow’s games.
Old Forest will retain a portion of Homan’s remaining contract.
Xanth will retain a portion of Bridger’s remaining contract.
His career record is 5 victories and 8 defeats. Bridger also has struck out 80 batters and compiled a 6.54 ERA.
