Arwaun Blasts Miners, Archers Take Game 2, 11-5

The Lake Town Archers defeated the Moria Miners, 11-5, in Game 2 of the Fellowship Series. Making an impact was left fielder Taleisin Arwaun, who went 1-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win moves Lake Town into a 1-1 tie with Moria in the series.

Meneaduc Liszt, who finished 4th in the MC in on-base percentage with .375 in 2047, chipped in a 2-run home run for Lake Town in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

Miners manager Denilthor Silverbinder did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference “if and when we win the Return of the King Series.”

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Khazad-dum Stadium.
