Road Win Lifts Dagorlad to 1-0 Lead in Fellowship Series

The Dagorlad Disaster powered past the hometown Numenor Kings, 3-1, in the opener of the Fellowship Series at Capital One Stadium. Dagorlad starting pitcher Krork Smiddlefidget threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball, to lead the charge. The Disaster now lead the series 1-0.

Dagorlad used the hitting of Carrock Rahman to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Disaster on top, 2-0. For the game, Rahman had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

“Every team in baseball loses,” Kings manager Vugnar Mithrilhammer said. “We’re in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We’ll bounce back.”

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tuesday, October 11th , 2050.
