The Moria Miners and the Lake Town Archers will take the Fellowship Series to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation, the Miners shut out the Archers, 10-0, at Lake Town Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Moria left-hander Halpaeril Moonsbreath did his part. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball.
Moonsbreath, who leaned on his sinker, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 7 innings for the Miners. For the most part, Lake Town hitters were simply overmatched.
“We did a lot of things right,” said Moonsbreath.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Monday, October 17th , 2050.
