Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Disaster, 3-2

The Dagorlad Disaster moved to within one game of the Two Towers Series, downing the visiting Numenor Kings at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium by a score of 3-2. Disaster right-hander Krork Smiddlefidget had a strong outing in which he threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Disaster a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Fellowship Series.

Duk-yeo Limón had a critical at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the seventh for Dagorlad. He came through with a solo home run to put Dagorlad in front, 3-1.

“Krork gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to,” said Dagorlad skipper Ghudkuh Ogreprodder.

Game 6 is scheduled for Monday at Capital One Stadium.
