The Dunharrow Devils bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a Return of the King Series championship.
Dunharrow downed the Dagorlad Disaster 3-2 tonight at Dunharrow Field, to take the Two Towers Series 4-2.
“It seems much more real now and we’re really starting to realize we’ve got a great shot at this thing,” said Menegilda Dogwood, who was named series MVP. “When we play our best we’re as good as anybody in the Tolkien Baseball.”
For the series, Dogwood had 8 hits for .421, with a .542 on-base percentage. She had 2 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Dunharrow Devils will play against the Moria Miners in the next round. Moria won their series against the Rivendell Royals 4 games to 2. The Return of the King Series schedule will be announced after the Two Towers Series finishes.
