Riding the 3-hit performance of second baseman Menegilda Dogwood, the Dunharrow Devils got a road win against the Dagorlad Disaster, 7-3, in Game 3 of the Two Towers Series. Dogwood went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Devils, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.
It could have been a different outcome for Dunharrow, had it not been for Sundamar Denaihir, the three-time All-Star . Denaihir contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Dunharrow up, 2-1.
“There’s nothing like the postseason,” said Dogwood, “to ramp up the pressure.”
