The Dagorlad Disaster wasted no time taking the lead in the Two Towers Series, beating the Dunharrow Devils at Dunharrow Field by the score of 5-2. The win gives Dagorlad a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Disaster right-hander Krork Smiddlefidget threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball.
Who knows how it might’ve ended, had it not been for Balin Dainsson? The Dagorlad catcher had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put the Disaster on top, 1-0. For the game, Dainsson had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
“Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good,” said Smiddlefidget.
