Lothlorien fans held their breath as Elluin *Engwyn left yesterday’s Devils-Lumberjacks contest with an injury. After the game, the team’s medical staff said that the 28-year-old second baseman had suffered a fractured hand while being hit by a pitch. It’s estimated that he will be out 6 weeks.
So far this season, *Engwyn is batting .293 with 21 home runs, 56 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 85 hits in 290 at-bats, 28 walks and a .356 OBP. *Engwyn has played in 81 games.
