Bywater fans held their breath as Ferdinand *Puttifoot left yesterday’s Sylvan-Bounders contest with an injury. After the game, the team’s medical staff said that the 40-year-old third baseman had suffered a strained rib cage muscle while colliding with a player at a base. It’s estimated that he will be out 5 weeks.
