The season is ending on a bad note for Wildemar Waelvor, starting pitcher for the Rivendell Royals. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Waelvor was hurt against the Carrock Bears while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 9-10 months.
This season, Waelvor has fashioned a 6-2 mark and 3.08 ERA in 76 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .238 against him and he has logged 59 strikeouts.
