The Ravenhill Darkwings could very well have acquired some new fans late this season, as the team’s 2051 playoff chase saw them win the wild card as the season wound to a close.
“It’s an exciting time to be a fan of the Darkwings. I think we had people on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen,” said starting pitcher Pansy RadrÃguez.
What ended up happening is that the team’s 85-77 record has allowed it to move on to the postseason, with a chance to win the 3rd Return of the King Series in franchise history.
“It’s only going to get more exciting from here on in,” RadrÃguez said.
