Trollthrottler Blasts Slayers, Kings Take Game 1, 7-4

The Numenor Kings started the Fellowship Series in style, winning on the road against the Minas Morgul Slayers at Sylvan Cove by a score of 7-4 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Kings third baseman Krutrush Trollthrottler excelled. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

In the top of the third, Numenor first baseman Phaimina Srinshee had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Srinshee stroked a 2-run double to left-center. It made the score 4-1, Numenor. For the game, she went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs.

“I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it,” said Srinshee.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tuesday, October 10th , 2051.
