Blitzed by Footthrower, Dragons, Kings Sink Further in Series

Behind the big bat of right fielder Bruggug Footthrower, the Dol Guldur Dragons have opened up a healthy early lead in the Two Towers Series. The Dragons topped the Numenor Kings, 7-6, at Dol Guldur Stadium in Game 2, and now hold a 2-0 edge in the best-of-7 series. Footthrower was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once to power Dol Guldur to victory.

Footthrower delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th to win it for Dol Guldur. In the contest, Footthrower went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

“We’re learning some lessons in the school of hard knocks,” philosophized losing manager Vugnar Mithrilhammer.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 21st , 2051 at Capital One Stadium.
