Two Towers Series Game 1 Victory for Stryjski and Carrock

When he got to Carrock, Nieven Stryjski was just worrying about staying on the roster. Today, he was starring in the Two Towers Series.

The 21-year-old rookie right-hander shut out the visiting Bywater Bounders, 4-0, in a remarkable performance at Old League Park. With the win, the Bears took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 Two Towers Series.

Siltina Lightloafer helped her team take an early lead with a 3-run home run. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Bears.

“We’re happy,” Stryjski told reporters after the win. “When you’re in the playoffs, you’ve got to treat every game like it could be your last.”

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Friday, October 20th , 2051.
