Carrock Bears first baseman Sam *Oakenstaff was the difference-maker at The Water Park, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Two Towers Series. The Bears took the 8-4 win over the Bywater Bounders to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Brobzugh Livertrembler came through with a big-time hit for Carrock. The center fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
“We’re one game closer to our goal,” Carrock manager Tigia Eladriendel said later. “It isn’t any more complicated than that.”
The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 26th , 2051 at Old League Park.
