Behind a bravura effort from starter Enlwar Lomenduil, the Andelain Giants topped the Carrock Bears by the score of 7-0 and got their first win in the 2051 Ultimate Championship. Lomenduil threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball for the Giants. The win moves Andelain into a 1-1 tie with Carrock.
Lomenduil was in the zone all game. He frustrated Carrock hitters while giving the Giants 6.1 innings of quality work. Lomenduil threw 90 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 4 punchouts.
“The key at this level is throwing strike one,” said Lomenduil. “Successful pitchers do it.”
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, November 11th , 2051 at Andelain Fields.
