It was a storybook year for the Carrock Bears as they closed out a 4-3 series win over the Narnia Badgers to claim the Ultimate Fantasy Baseball Association Championship.
They wrapped it up with a 6-0 victory to cap an incredible season after they brought home their 3rd league championship earlier in the year.
The Bears manager offered his view of the series.
“We had a lot of things going for us,” he said, “offense and defense doing it at the right time. That’s what it takes to win it all.”
The Badgers manager commented: “We’re disappointed we lost, but we’re also very proud of what we did all year. They played better baseball than us and they beat us.”
During the Shire Conference Hobbit Division regular season, Carrock compiled a record of 90-72.
